John Monson, is Emeritus Professor
of Clinical Endocrinology at St. Bartholomew’s Hospital,
QMUL, United Kingdom and Consultant Physician at the London
Clinic Centre for Endocrinology. He was formerly Lead
Clinician for Endocrinology at St Bartholomew’s Hospital and
Centre Lead for Academic Clinical Endocrinology in the
William Harvey Research Institute at Queen Mary, University
of London. |

Professor Monson received his undergraduate education at
Guy’s Hospital Medical School, University of London
graduating in 1973 and undertook specialist training at St
George’s Hospital, London and The London Hospital Medical
College. He became Reader in Medicine at St Bartholomew’s
Hospital Medical College in 1995 and Professor of Clinical
Endocrinology at Queen Mary, University of London in 1999.
He has served as a member of the Clinical Committee and
Council of the UK Society for Endocrinology. |
