We're Hiring! Could you be our Digital Communications and Engagement Officer?

The Addison's Disease Self Help Group (ADSHG) has grown over recent years and is in the process of continual development and further growth. This is an opportunity for with a talent for targeted, sensitive and engaging communications to make their mark on the way in which the charity is perceived, our credibility, and our influence amongst our various digital audiences.

Key tasks include (but are not limited to):

Managing content planner for the Charity’s communication channels, developing campaigns, planning in event coverage, identifying potential news stories, and working across teams to plan and develop content

  • Delivering the drafting, editing and publishing of content through the Charity’s digital communication channels, including its website, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram feeds
  • Reaching, engaging, collaborating, seeking out information and opportunities online
  • Maintenance and protection of the charity’s brand identity and tone of voice
  • Co-ordinating volunteers to support delivery of digital comms
  • Tracking, measuring, and reporting on the effectiveness of the Charity’s communication channels
  • Boosting the potential of our fundraising through our social media channels
  • Supporting management of digital contacts from the press
  • Identifying and pursing new possible social media / online presences
  • Support production of e-newsletters print magazines and event materials where required including liaison with designers and printers as needed.
  • Other reasonably commensurate duties as prescribed by the Ops Manager
