Our Members-only ADSHG AGM 2022 will be held on Saturday 16th July 2022 from 11am.

Date Update: Owing to planned transport worker industrial action in the London area our AGM has been postponed to the above date. Our sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Managing Addison's with Dr Alessandro Prete with Medic Q and A - Focussing on times when we need to adjust our medicine doses or change our approach due to lifestyle changes.

Research Update: Patent-pending TwistJect™  Auto-Injector with Julia Anthony. The device promises to aid the effectiveness of emergency injections and has received ADSHG funding: Julia Anthony of Solution Medical.

Research update: Adrenal Insufficiency self-management with Sofia Llahana of the University of London - Sofia's continuing ADSHG funded research in which participants included ADSHG members, focusses on the factors that influence the patients’ ability to self-manage their condition.

  • Hear about the last twelve months achievements at the ADSHG and our future plans
  • Member voting on trustee elections and resolutions on charity matters
  • Emergency injection practise with Endocrine Nurse Lisa Shepherd
  • Time to have a cuppa and chat with others with Addison's from around the country.

    • Resolution 1: To endorse amendments to the constitution to allow for ADSHG meetings, AGMs and voting to be conducted via online meetings as per recent regulatory changes.
    • Resolution 2: To approve the minutes of the previous 2021 Annual General Meeting.
    • Resolution 3: To accept the Trustee’s Annual Report and Accounts for 2021.
    • Resolution 4: To re-elect Dom Hargreaves as Trustee for a second three-year term.
    • Resolution 5: To re-elect Lisa Shepherd for a second three-year term.
    • Resolution 6: To elect Alessandro Prete as Trustee for a first term.
    • Resolution 7: To elect Chloe Mezzetti as Trustee for a first term.
    • Resolution 8: To appoint Andrew Churchill Stone, Chartered Accountant at Mercer Lewin as ADSHG independent financial examiner for 2022.

    How to join us on the day:

    In person (face-to-face) ADSHG AGM 2022 - Saturday 16th July  - Live from Smithfield, London.

    Doors open 10.30 for an 11am start. Admission by pre-booked ticket only. Tickets are now on sale on a first come first served basis. Please book early to avoid disappointment. £15 Ticket price includes refreshments and a hot buffet lunch. In-person tickets will be very limited to enable attendees to socially distance if they wish to do so. When booking you will be able to specify any dietary or accessibility requirements. Our venue is fitted with visibility panels and its lifts and toilets are wheelchair accessible. Assistance dogs are also welcomed. Mobile induction loops are available. A small number of complementary tickets are available for those experiencing hardship so please get in touch if you would benefit from these.

    Important: In person tickets for the London event are for members only. Membership status will be checked for all those buying tickets online and refunds issued for anyone without a current paid membership at the time of booking.     You'll be able to watch from home live via our AGM@Home Zoom webcast free of charge - Booking is essential. Bookings close at midnight 10th July.

    Organise or attend a garden party or a gathering in your living room to watch our Zoom webcast together online with a few snacks and refreshments. Why not create some party decorations in ADSHG colours? Be sure to share your pictures and messages with us on social media. Invite those who might not be confident in using Zoom so that they can be included in our special day.

    On Demand:

    As in previous years we hope to provide recordings of parts of the AGM via our forum. We are dependant on the technology working for us on the day for this to be possible.
