Our clinical advisory panel made up of leading healthcare professionals and academics in the endocrine healthcare arena have worked with our members to identify and recommend ten key elements that make for marvellous care and give patients the best chance of being able to self-manage their condition. "An independent evaluation found that people who had the highest knowledge, skills and confidence had 19% fewer GP appointments and 38% fewer A&E attendances than those with the lowest levels of activation.” Source: https://www.england.nhs.uk/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/supported-self-management-summary-guide.pdf
