Our Clinical Advisory Panel made up of leading healthcare professionals and academics in the endocrine healthcare arena have worked with our members to identify and recommend ten key elements that make for marvellous care and give patients the best chance of being able to self-manage their condition.

Issue Emergency Kit components and training to AI patients.
Provide Sick Day Rules guidance
Distribute Patient Support Group information to all AI patients
Work towards better tailored dosing
Support the patient in obtaining a supply of medication with a 3 month prescription every 2 months

Updated NHS Steroid Card Released

Following the early release of the new NHS Steroid Emergency Card back in March to keep patients with Addison's or adrenal insufficiency safe during the COVID-19 crisis, the NHS steroid card has been updated and physical copies will be available to order from Tuesday 18th August 2020 for hospital teams!
